Differentiating HubSpot Filters
Difference between "contains any of," "contains exactly," and "is equal to any of" filters.
The difference between the three:
🔍 Contains any of: matches your value anywhere in the text, even buried inside a longer word.
e.g. searching "ABC" matches 123ABC456
🔍 Contains exactly: matches your value as a whole word, not stuck inside another string. (For multi-word searches, it checks that all the words appear somewhere in the value - order doesn't matter.)
e.g. searching "ABC" matches 123 ABC 456, not 123ABC456
🔍 Is equal to any of :the whole field has to match your value exactly, nothing more, nothing less.
e.g. searching "ABC" matches ABC, not 123 ABC or ABC 123
